Transience was an exhibition that featured work I completed during my time in the Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Ceramic Artisanry program at UMass Dartmouth’s Center for Visual and Performing Arts. Karmic Vessel When fired in the kiln, this vessel contained 1,000 slips of paper with the mantra, "May the moral arc of the universe bend toward justice" printed on them, effectively sending the mantra into the universe as smoke.
